Recruiting SMS terms

These terms describe the proposed PIE Capital, LLC recruiting text-message program. Automated recruiting texts are not active through this website at this time.

What messages cover

With your permission, recruiting texts may include application updates, screening next steps, interview scheduling and reminders, offer-response follow-ups, start-date arrangements, and onboarding information related to your recruiting process. Messages may be sent using automated technology and may include AI-assisted responses.

Giving permission

Proposed permission methods include an optional, unchecked SMS consent checkbox on a recruiting form; explicit verbal permission during a recruiter call using the program disclosures; or a candidate initiating a text opt-in after reviewing those disclosures. These methods are not active through this website yet. Submitting an application, providing a mobile number, or leaving the checkbox unchecked does not grant SMS consent. We obtain and record permission before sending the first recruiting text. Any later confirmation text confirms permission already given; it does not replace prior permission.

SMS permission is not a condition of applying, employment, or purchasing anything. You must be authorized to provide the number you submit. A submission or a text message is not a guarantee of an interview, job offer, or employment.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with your recruiting activity and the next steps in your application. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile service plan. Your carrier may charge for sending or receiving SMS and MMS messages.

Opting out

For an active program, reply STOP to end future recruiting texts. You may receive one final opt-out confirmation. Opting out does not withdraw your application; contact your recruiter to arrange another communication method.

Getting help

For an active program, reply HELP for assistance or contact your assigned recruiter. The recruiting contact number is 828-578-2423. Email recruiting@pie-capital.com for help. You can ask for an on-staff recruiter to take over an AI-assisted conversation.

Interview group texts

Group texts may include you, your recruiter, and your interviewer for interview logistics. Group participation requires your separate agreement. Group participants may see each other's phone numbers and messages. Request individual communication if you prefer. Keep sensitive personal information out of group messages.

Delivery and availability

Delivery depends on your mobile carrier and service availability. Messages can be delayed or fail to arrive. Contact your recruiter directly for a time-sensitive appointment question. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Read our Privacy Policy for information about recruiting data, service providers, AI assistance, and your messaging preferences. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Changes to the program

The program and these terms may be updated. Any published terms and consent language must match the messaging program actually offered.
